Safety in Chainsaw Operation - Annex V
The Training ofRegulatory Standard 12, Safety at Work with Chainsaws (Annex V), aims to apply theoretical and practical knowledge for chainsaw operation in accordance with work safety standards, enabling the operator to exercise his function through safety concepts and practices involving organization, planning and execution of work, the protective measures to guarantee the health and physical integrity of workers, exploring knowledge in all resources andequipments.
"NR 12.3 The employer must adopt protective measures for work on machinery and equipment, capable of guaranteeing the health and physical integrity of workers, and appropriate measures whenever there are people with disabilities directly or indirectly involved in the work".
